Do you offer a free trial?

We offer a free trial for all new starters of 1 session per style for kids and teens, and 1 week (all styles) for adults. Please contact us to book your free trial today!

What do I need to bring?

For starters, a drink bottle and comfortable gym clothes. Further down the track, we’d encourage Muay Thai members to purchase a mouth guard, and invest in some quality gloves and shin guards. For BJJ, a Gi and a No Gi uniform is recommended for members.

Do I need to be fit or have trained before?

Our classes are structured to allow everyone to work at their own pace, and have a range of experience and fitness levels. You are encouraged to work at your own pace, and fitness and skill will come with time. A half paced class beats an hour on the couch every time!

How much does it cost?

Adult memberships are $40/week, covering all timetabled classes in BJJ, Muay Thai and MMA, billed fortnightly with no startup or cancellation fees.

All we request is a 30 day cancellation notice period.

Kids & Teens classes are $160/term (based on a 10 week term, grading included)

Casual Classes are $20/session

We offer the following discounts:

Kids/Teens

2 students/family - 10%,

3+ students/family - 20%

Adults memberships paid in advance for 12 months - 10%

What Age groups are kids/teens?

Kinder Ninjas: 3-6yo (Kinder)

Kids: 5-12yo (Primary School)

Teens: 12-17yo (High School)

My child/teen is near to the kids age group – are they able to train?

If your child is at primary school, physically active and able to follow instruction within the class setting, then they are welcome to attend class. We have a range of levels of sizes and experience levels in the kids classes, and will look to match them with similarly sized kids where possible.

Do kid/teens classes run over school holidays?

Kids and teens classes are only available during the school term weeks, and typically restart on the first full term week back

Do you offer PT/Private sessions?

Our coaches are qualified fitness professionals, and can offer PT sessions using the weight and cardio equipment available at the gym.

This can be organised directly with the coaches outside of class times.

Am I able to use the gym equipment?

We offer kettle bell, dumbbell, free weight and cardio options, and welcome all members to use the equipment as part of their membership during gym open hours.

Am I able/do I have to compete?

We encourage and support members to compete in BJJ and interclub competitions should they choose, however there is no requirement or expectation for this.

Most members chose to come to class to get fit, make friends and develop new skills, with plenty of opportunity to spar and drill with team mates.

For those looking to progress into MMA or Muay Thai, our coaches well experienced in training and developing well rounded fighters up to a professional level.

What’s the best martial art?

A common question that is very subjective. Most would say that for self defense and the ability to overcome a larger opponent and get off the ground (where most conflict situations end up), BJJ is the most effective art form. For striking/standing situations, Muay Thai has been proven very effective in the highest levels of competition, and is arguably the most effective style. We believe these art forms, supplemented with some wrestling, provide the optimal skill set for a well rounded fighter, and is the most common set of disciplines seen in high level MMA.

Can I buy equipment/uniforms through the gym?

We carry small amounts of equipment stock given the broad range of required equipment. If you’re unsure what you may need, please touch base with one of our coaches.

What Gear is required for training?

While all new members are welcome to make a start with t-shirt and shorts, good quality gear is a worthwhile investment to keep you protected and training. We recommend the following equipment:

Striking (Muay Thai/MMA)

  • Gloves - 16 oz for sparring, 10-12 oz for bag work

  • Shin Guards (MT & MMA)

  • Mouth Guard

  • Fight Shorts/Thai Shorts for mobility

  • Rash Guard

BJJ/Submission Grappling

  • 2 Gi Uniforms (Training/Washing rotation)

  • 2 Sets Rash Guard and MMA Shorts (Training/Washing rotation)

  • Mouth Guard
