MUAY THAI KICKBOXING

Muay Thai, the “Art of Eight Limbs”, is one of the most effective striking styles in the world.

Utilising kicks and punches, knees and elbows, Muay Thai uses proven combat techniques to give you a well rounded striking and self defence skill set.

As well as improving your balance, flexibility, speed and power, it is an amazing cardio workout and fat blaster.

Classes are accessible to all fitness levels and experience. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a complete beginner wanting to just get a sweat up with a new hobby, or a professional fighter wanting to train to fight, we scale the class to the level you’re at and help you achieve your goals in a positive, supportive environment.

BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Brazilian grappling arts burst onto the MMA scene through the early Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), where an 80kg Royce Gracie used his family’s art form to shutdown and submit a series of highly skilled heavyweight opponents. Since then, BJJ has established itself as one of the most effective forms of self-defence, and a crucial component of MMA.

The goal of BJJ is to teach students how to overcome strength and size with the correct application of timing, leverage and technique to control their opponent and force them into submission. As a ground based fighting system, it negates a lot of the threats of striking and explosive power, and allows the smaller opponent to level the playing field. Utilizing escapes, joint locks, chokes, takedowns, holds and pins, BJJ provides a variety of skills for self defence or MMA.

KIDS AND TEENS CLASSES

We pride ourselves on our inclusive and supportive environment, where kids and teens of all backgrounds come to develop confidence, discipline, self-esteem and a sense of control. Martial arts is not just about getting fit or losing weight, it is about empowering young people by channeling their fears, frustrations, anxieties and worries into a structured and controlled self-defense environment and instilling them with the discipline needed to succeed later in life. By gradually improving their tolerance and ability to be comfortable while in uncomfortable situations, we help to build children into resilient adults who will later become the leaders of tomorrow.

We strive to make our classes fun for our students so that they WANT to come as much as their parents want them to. All the while, most importantly giving them the skills and abilities to be confident in their day to day life, and skills that may one day save their life of that of a loved one if they are bullied or attacked.

The important first step in becoming a Martial Arts student is selecting the gym that is right for you. In a lot of cases, there is a general misconception that gyms are places only for fighters.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. While we can provide the level of coaching required for developing professional fighters, the majority of members are every day people, mums and dads, kids and teens, with a range of experience and fitness levels. We strive to provide a learning focused environment that is fun and inclusive, and accessible to everyone.

Our Coaching team have decades of combined experience, with members who have fought professionally in MMA, Muay Thai & Boxing, with multiple titles between them.
